Singles Kitchen is a free meal planner and grocery list tool. This page explains what information we collect and how it's used.
What we collect
- Account information — if you create an account to save your meal plan and grocery list, we collect an email address and a password (stored as a one-way hash — we never see or store your actual password).
- Usage analytics — we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used (pages visited, general traffic patterns). This sets standard Google Analytics cookies in your browser.
- The plans and lists you build — recipes selected, plan preferences, and grocery-list checkbox state, so the app can remember your progress.
We don't collect payment information — Singles Kitchen doesn't charge for its core planner.
How we use it
To run the site: keeping you logged in, remembering your meal plan and grocery list, and understanding in general terms how the site is used so we can improve it.
We don't sell your information. We don't run advertising or remarketing campaigns on this site today. If that ever changes, this page will be updated first to describe exactly what's running and how to opt out.
Cookies
We use a session cookie to keep you logged in if you have an account, and Google Analytics cookies for site usage statistics. Neither is used to sell you things across other sites.
Third parties
Google Analytics processes usage data on our behalf, under its own privacy terms. We don't share your account email, password, or saved plan data with any other third party.
Data retention and deletion
We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. If you'd like your account and data deleted, let us know through the Feedback page and we'll take care of it.
Children's privacy
Singles Kitchen is not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy as the site changes. Meaningful changes will be reflected here with an updated date at the top of this page.
